From fruits harvested at the perfect ripeness are obtained precious jams, with the addition of very little sugar.
For figs and almonds jam are used figs of the Dottato variety, these reach the right ripeness between August and September. Almonds, instead, of the Pizzuta variety, give a touch of crunchiness. The result is a jam with a pleasant contrast between softness and crunchiness.
It is indicated for a healthy and nutritious breakfast, spread on bread or on toasted slices. It is also recommended to be combined with mature cheeses with a strong personality.
